RoyalShave began in 2001 as a European import family business located in Newport Beach, California. Our initial goal was to simply offer quality imported European goods to our valued American customers.
We began this business when we realized that despite growing internet shopping and market globalization, there were a great variety of extraordinary products being sold successfully in European countries that were still relatively unknown in the U.S.A. Because high-quality razors and shaving products have been a raging trend in the discriminating European market for the last decade, but have only recently caught the attention of the national market, we felt hopeful in introducing shaving creams, soaps, razors, and other articles of distinction from regaled Old World shaving companies and enthusiasts such as Dovo, Merkur, Vulfix, Haslinger, Riana,Taylor of Old Bond Street, Truefitt, D.R. Harris, G.B. Kent, and more, to the American public.
We continue to scour the European markets, adding the highest quality goods to our inventory on a regular basis. But as we strive to satisfy our growing clientele with a complete and extensive range of products, we now also carry a plethora of the best domestic merchandise. Our immersion in and loyalty to superior shaving products has made us understand the importance of shaving not just as a necessity, but a pleasure steeped in a long, artful tradition. Express Orders placed before 12:00 p.m. PST during a regular business day will ship the same day. Orders placed outside of these times will ship the next business day (Express orders placed on a Friday after 12:00 p.m. PST will not ship until Monday).
UPS does not deliver on weekends (e.g. a Next Day Air order placed on Friday before noon will not be delivered until Monday).

We will ship your order using the fastest, safest, most reliable method possible. As we charge a flat rate for shipping to U.S. street addresses, we will choose the most appropriate method for your order, like UPS, USPS or DHL.
We will notify you via email when your order ships. This email will include a tracking number and tracking link for your shipment.
Depending on how close you are to the shipping warehouse, your item will arrive between 1 and 10 business days after it leaves the warehouse.
We do not require a signature for most deliveries, but please note that the decision to leave your package without a signature is at the discretion of the delivery person. If you want an item left at your doorstep, the best thing to do is leave a note on your door asking the driver to leave your package with "No Signature Required." Be sure to include your name and tracking number on the note.
Note: UPS cannot deliver to P.O. Box addresses. If you would like your order to be shipped to a P.O. Box, we will use US Postal Service. There may be an additional charge for P.O. Box shipments for large or heavy items, in which case you may be contacted in advance.
RoyalShave.com has partnered with a trusted third-party company, International Checkout, to fulfill orders for our International customers. Simply put the items you wish to purchase in our Shopping Cart and choose the "International Checkout" option. Your items will be transferred to International Checkout for processing. You may pay by International credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. International Checkout will process your order, including billing, shipping and customer service. Most of our packages are delivered by a combination of air and ground transportation. The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) prohibits air shipment of items that could contribute to an onboard fire or other mishap.
Restricted items include:
- Aerosol-type products or medications in pressurized spray cans, such as hairspray, shaving cream, and inhalers.
- Products that contain flammable, volatile, or corrosive chemicals, such as fragrances, nail polish, bunion treatments, shoe spray, and leather care spray.
We are committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible, but we also want to do it safely and responsibly in compliance with DOT rules. We require ground-only delivery, at our Standard Shipping rate, for orders that contain DOT-restricted products.

Please note: To protect against fraud, any orders paid for with a personal check will remain on hold for a number of days to allow for the check to clear. Orders placed with credit cards, money orders and cashier's checks will be processed immediately.
Promotional codes for RoyalShave are offered to existing customers and visitors at select websites. Promo codes contain no cash value and must be submitted at the time of order and are not valid on previous purchases. Promo codes that have expired are no longer valid. Promo codes cannot be applied toward tax or delivery charges. Brand such as Dovo, Merkur, and Feather are excluded from promotional code discounts. Limit 1 promo code per transaction.
If for any reason you find that you need to cancel an order, change an item in an order, or change the shipping address, please call us at 1-800-801-0769. Generally we cannot cancel an order once it has shipped from the warehouse. Therefore the sooner you call the better our chance of catching the order in time. If we are unable to make the change before the order is processed and shipped, you may need to return the item. Please see our return policy for details.
There is no sales tax on orders, with the exception of orders shipped to addresses in the state of California. Orders shipped to California addresses are subject to a sales tax of 7.75%.
You may return your new, unused purchase for any reason within 365 days of purchase for a refund of the purchase price, excluding our actual shipping and handling costs. In addition, some of our items carry a restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund should you wish to make a return.
Please keep in mind that once an order has shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy where roundtrip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

- Wrap the product(s) carefully. All returned products must be in original condition and packaging.Or the item may be subject to additional fees.
- Include the completed return form (sent to you in the original shipment) with your product and indicate the reason for the return.
- Return the product using your preferred shipping method. Unless the return is due to an error on our part, we are not responsible for shipping and handling or gift wrap charges.
- Please do not return items COD. We do not accept COD packages.

Please note:
- For reasons of hygiene, personal bodycare products cannot be returned.
- If you received Free Shipping on your original order, $5.95 will be deducted from the amount of your refund.
- Used Merchandise will not be refunded, because of hygienic reasons!
- Personalized Merchandise (including but not limited to engraved items) is exempt from return.
- Refused or Returned Shipments are subject to a $6.00 return shipment fee.
All returned products must in original condition and packaging. Unfortunately, we cannot take returns of products that have been personalized, modified, or assembled. Furthermore, certain products cannot be returned because neither we nor the manufacturer can take them back. Please call or email RoyalShave before returning any product.
Our products are well-packaged to withstand damage during shipping. However, if an item looks damaged or parts are missing, please notify us. We will make every effort to correct the situation.

You will need the following information on hand: order number, your full name, and reason for return. If you contact us by email, enter the order number / invoice number into the subject line. Due to excessive spam, all emails without a subject line are automatically deleted. Please DO NOT attempt a return without a return authorization.
If you decide that you do not want parts or a replacement unit, the item can be returned under our Standard Return Policy. If a product arrives damaged, or if we made an error, and it cannot be remedied with either a full replacement `or replacement parts, we will pay to return the item to us.
If the problem is due to a manufacturer's defect, we can either replace the defective part, or if necessary, the entire product. We stand behind our products and maintain strong relationships with all of our manufacturers. If there is a problem with the product, please contact us and we will make every effort to resolve it.
