I have about a 13mm beard which is past itching but definitely needs to be tamed by a brush. This is a great brush at a great price, its firm but not painful and great for brushing your beard after you put some good beard oil in it (I recommend something with Jojoba Oil), I like the Brooklyn Grooming shave oil and this brush compliments it well. I've found myself just brushing my beard at my desk all day and its like a nice little massage.

This brush is in the perfect spot between stiff and soft - stiff enough to tame my gnarly facial hair and soft enough to grrom and smooth it. The brush feels extremely well made and is a great value. I am buying a second to keep at the office.
