The Edwin Jagger DE87 Double Edge Safety Razor features a classic, yet contemporary design. It is chrome plated with a straight guard precision head to give a comfortable shave with no irritation. The faux ivory handle is lightweight and provides an elegant tone to this fabulous double edge razor.

The Edwin Jagger DE87 utilizes the same shaving head as the more expensive Muhle model. The razor is solid, well balanced and certainly capable of delivering a close shave despite its less than aggressive make up. Perhaps the only downside is the handle, some shavers prefer a surface other than something smooth. Still, I have not found it to be a problem handling the shaver.
I now own two of these razors. One of these is in my travel kit. Of the two, I prefer the Ivory model over the silver exclusively for looks, not function. Both are equal in that department. |

Got this one for Father's Day. It gives fantastic shaves. I've been neglecting my vintage safety razors since I got it. This razor plus a Feather blade gives a BBS shave that lasts.
The handle is thicker than it looks(good), and much easier to hold onto than you may think.

Bought this razor recently and have compared it to my other razors the merkur futr and the Parker razor. This a well balaced razor that gives almost as close a shave as the futr with less potential for razor burn. Highly recommended!

I found this razor to be extremely well finished. Being new to wet shaving I also found it easy to use no nicks or cuts. I have bought 2 my son has my first one.
