I've been shaving with this razor for quite a while now. I bought it for a number of reasons but primarily because it is stainless and cryo treated.
I wanted a razor that would hold an edge well and didn't require me to coat it with oil after each use. This is especially important for me because I'm not an everyday shaver.
If you are in a hurry and put away a high carbon blade wet without oil for a couple of days there is a good possiblity you will see the beginning signs of rust the next time you see it.
That's why I went stainless. While I try not to put it away wet there are some days when I'm running late and a quick wipe before putting it away is all it do. I've never been disappointed.
The cryo treatment makes the blade harder and sharpening is a bit more time consuming but I still only have to use my finishing stone on it about once every 3 months. The rest of the time a good stropping is all it needs.
This razor is a good value considering you get stainless and cryo, plus good looks. The scales are a bit on the fat side compared to my other razors but it wasn't hard to get used to at all.
