I already reviewed this razor once, but after using it, I liked it so much I ordered a second, so think of this as my review of the second razor. This razor is perfect for getting at difficult spots like under the nose or some of the dips and dimples around the chin. It also takes honing very well and I suspect women might find it great for shaving the bikini line. I have also done whole shaves with it and found it excellent. Rarely do straight shavers take whole 3 inch wide swipes. If your face has a lot of unpredictable swerves, this smaller blade is the ticket.
Plus it's just plain fun to use. Whenever I travel, I pack a couple standard straights and my little Dovo.

Not just narrower, also shorter, 7.29.2010

I wasn't sure when I bought this razor whether it was just a narrower blade but still the standard length. I was looking for a razor for tighter spots, even nape razor. This razor fills the bill. The blade itself is proportionally shorter than a 5/8. The cutting edge is about 2". I supply this information because I was not able to find it stated anywhere else.

I bought this razor to complement my 6/8 that does most of the work. This little razor does a fine job cleaning up the areas of my face that the big straight doesn't handle well. Its light weight requires more control so be sure to work slowly and carefully when stoning and stropping to get the best results.
