I got my set in the mail yesterday and shaved last night. Still smooth this morning. Love the shave and the razor burn from my old cartidge razor is already healing. Along with the set I also purchased a great preshave oil. A must have IMO. The only thought I have is that the handle on the razor is a little short. I have very large hands, so this may not affect everyone. I am sure I will be adding items from RS to my collection soon. Great product!!!

Perfect kit for the first time DE shaver. All the products in the set really do make for the perfect shave. Hands down the best and closest shave I ever had. So throw your 3, 4, 5 blade cartridge shavers away, you will not be disappointed. I should of made the switch 20 years ago.

I bought this set as an introduction to DE wetshaving (previously used an electric followed by years of Mach 3 cartridge shaving). It turned out to be a fantastic kit! The badger brush is good quality (smelled horrible and shed hairs for 3 days then settled in to be a nice brush) and the Merkur HD razor works great (took me about 3 days to settle in to perfect shaves with a Derby blade). I wouldn't recommend the Merkur blades (terrible for me but YMMV) and wish there was a different brand included in this set (Derby or Red Personna). After buying several soaps and creams to try out the Proraso sensitive that I got in this kit remains my favorite. Highly recommended for an entry to wetshaving!

First off, this is one of the best company's I have delt with online. I received my order with in 2 days. I live in Chicago and at the time i purchased my order the weather was pretty bad. As for the set the razor is great for a beginner because the shave is just right, no cuts, no irritation and especially no tugging or pulling. Once you start with a safety razor you will not go back to a cartridge blade. The stand looks great. The brush is really soft with a short break in period. I have both shave creams and the aloe vera really helps with the sensitive skin. It tends to be more of a water lover so that tends to help instead of using to much cream. Overall if i could sum this is up in one word it would be awsome. |

This is an awesome kit to begin DE shaving. The Porasso products are fantastic, they work great and smell really good. The Merkur 34C is nicely made and works well. The brush is very nice too. All quality products that give you everything you need for a great shave.

If you have never used a double blade before, then this is perfect for you. It is a very easy razor to work with, the soap smells great and is easy to lather and apply. The brush & stand look great displayed, I am very happy I made this purchase
