My wife bought this for me for Valentines Day. The handle alone weighs at least six ounces and is solid as can be. It has a fantastic feel and heft in the hand. The silvertip bristles are soft and very high quality. The lather this brush creates is luxurious and very, very nice on a cold morning. It does shed quite a bit when you first get it, but that stops after your first couple uses. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a serious brush that will last many years.
