For the money, one of the better performing soaps out there. I find that putting a few drops of water on the puck before my shave allows the soap to soften a bit and make the lather building process a bit easier. A fairly easy soap to work into a lather, I find the lather to be fairly protective without leaving any residue--perhaps that is because the soap contains aloe vera. The scent is fairly neutral and does not linger. All in all, an excellent performer. |

I love Edwin Jagger soap. This makes a very silky, dense lather that optimizes the effective lubrication one needs for straight and safety razor shaving. I highly recommend the sandlewood scent, it has an appealing masculine presence. This is among my girlfriend's favorite soap scents.
