I have the Oak bowl, but I'm sure the Beechwood is just as nice. Dimensionally it is the same. It is easy to hold and manipulate while developing a lather. The bowl is the perfect size for Kent soaps and this soap is probably the best for developing a rich lather. The scent is fine and it is easy to use a Kent BK4 brush to hold and apply a good lather. I've tried a couple of other soaps and to me this is the best quality so far.
