Savon du Midi Shaving Cream is one of the most favorited by the RoyalShave staff. They are made in France and have been certified by the International Organic and Natural Cosmetics Corporation. The blend of organic ingredients extracted from natural essential oils gives it a super slick lather that makes the razor slide comfortably across the skin. It is identified by Savon du Midi as a Shaving Soap, but we consider it more of a hard shaving cream / soft shaving soap texture.

This cream provides a very slick and comfortable shave.
There is almost no scent - it is very light, almost as if it is an unscented cream with the natural fragrance of the oils and ingredients. I purchased the Orient fragrance. No description to go by, but I was expecting something woody or exotic. The bottom of the tub has a sticker that states, "a balsamic fragrance with aloe vera." It really doesn't seem "Oriental" or balsamic.

I've tested out a lot of soaps and creams from RoyalShave and I absolutely LOVE this shaving cream. I tried out the Garcon and was very impressed by the scent. The glide was great and I think this is permanently going to stay on my counter!
