Out of all the Truefitt & Hill creams, this cream works the best for my skin. The packaging is ostensibly different from the regular scented Truefitt & Hill creams - the jar of cream comes with no outer cardboard box, and the label on the jar is a paper sticker instead of printing. Finally, this cream is made in the USA instead of the UK. All in all, a good cream that I'm glad to have in my rotation.

Provides a great barrier while you shave. I get a really close shave with this cream. From the very first time I used it, no problems. It has a very neutral smell to it which I like. Very luxurious cream. Try it you'll like it.

This is one of T&H's best creams, period. The consistency it s touch thinner than T&H's other creams, but it does not affect latherability at all. I find the Ultimate Comfort to be fairly slick, yet it leaves no residue or film on your face when you are finished shaving. The scent is light and pleasing, and doesn't last--which is great if you are sensitive or allergic to most shaving scents. I think all the T&H creams are excellent; this one may just be my favorite. |

Best shave cream I've used. I've tried the unscented shave cream from Art of Shaving and the 1805 from Truefitt & Hill. This one seems to lather the best and provide the best shave with the least amount of irritation. It smells decent too. Tried Col. Conk's Bay Rum shaving soap when I first started shaving with a DE razor... didn't work so well for me. Kind of irritated my face... However, that was before, I stopped washing my face twice daily and before I started steaming my face before and after shaving. So, I'm thinking maybe I should test it out again... for a fair comparison. Haven't tried anything from Geo F. Trumper or Talyor's of Old Bond Street, so I can't compare it to those... but judging by my shaves, I find it hard to believe there is anything better. |

I have been experimenting with different shaving products for several months. I have tried about a half dozen different products from the major brands and this cream is by far the best that I have come across so far. I highly recommend it.
