This stuff is absolutely amazing as a preshave. I ordered a few things from RoyalShave and they included a couple samples of the Coral Skin Food. I will say that the scent isn't quite for me however the product itself is worth the scent to make the shave easier and make your skin feel amazing after. I will definitely be ordering the Lime soon as a new staple of my shave routine. Just great stuff!

I have to say that at first I was a bit apprehensive about paying almost $30 for an aftershave product. With that being said, I believe that the saying "you get what you pay for" holds true with Trumpers Sandalwood skin food. I have tried many products in the past and this works amazing with my sensitive skin. The smell is not overpowering, it only requires a small drop to go a long way, and it moisturizes without being greasy. I also noticed that since i used this in conjunction with the Violet shave cream, my face is no longer red, and no post shave blemishes! |

this is a great product. make sure that you know that this is a shrimpy size bottle , not the normal size 200 mil size bottle for this product. i dont feel that this company has made that perfectly clear.

I have to disagree a little with chris. I love the fact that the sandalwood is not as thick so it is absorbed in an easier fashion and doesn't leave my face greasy. Also, the scent is more subtle and in that way more pleasant. 5 stars from me! :)

I ordered the sandalwood scent. This is my first sandalwood scented
product from Geo F. Trumper and I was a bit surprised when I first smelled
this. It's far different than the sandalwood scents offered by AOS and T&H.
It's not necessarily a bad scent, just different from what I was expecting.
The skinfood isn't as thick as other aftershaves I've used but it seems to
work on my face just as well, but I didn't find it superior to other luxury
aftershaves. This is also a bit less expensive than others I've used, so
I'll probably be buying this again when I run out.

I've tried many many aftershaves and this is my current favorite. The reason is that it creates perfect skin balance all day long. Splashes dry me out right away and balms dry me out hours later. The skin food interacts with my bodily oil production for that perfect balance all day. It's almost a no frills product but for long term use in mind, I don't want to be overly impressed with a product right away just to be disappointed 2 weeks+ later. The scent of limes is OK but I think I would have gone with Sandalwood but all that is personal preference. My skin type is combo. This one is definitely worth trying.

Not sure why they charge so much for this product. Be aware thet this is a very small bottle. Also I probably should have chosen the lime as I find the rose a bit too feminine.

I had read a review about this product. Didn't really think it would meet all the hype. It really met everything I had read. A couple drops and your face forgets you just shaved it. Never have I used an aftershave that could hold a candle to this.

Soothing and has a pleasant lime scent..not overpowering but very refreshing and feels good on the skin.( This was the #2 scent)I like the mild feel and you don,t leave home smelling like a lime.... quite cool .I think this will be in my top three.
