The traditional yellow whetstone coticule contains 35 to 40% of garnets for the very best grinding characteristics. The selected variety of coticule is ranked based on their visual characteristics and provides a visually homogeneous stone. With the "selected" standardization, you are guaranteed excellence in grinding characteristics. The yellow whetstone coticule top side measures between 7 - 10 mm and an unusable black shist on the bottom side. This special yellow whetstone contains between 6000 and 8000 grits.
