This is a simple stand but gives you that old time feel. The finish is fantastic and has a nice weight on it. It fits my TAOS silvertip brush perfectly. Now...to get me the matching razor! I HIGHLY suggest this stand.

I've owned this stand for about 3 months. It has retained the chrome plating quite well, but of late I've seen some spots on the plating. Not sure if those are the beginning signs of rust, because I keep my shaving equipment in my study - not in the bathroom - so the moisture level that the stand is exposed to should not be too high. Nevertheless, this is a sturdy stand that is functional, and the price is good too. Oh, and it's made in Taiwan, if the country of manufacture is important to a would-be buyer.

The "RoyalShave Chrome Safety Razor and Brush Stand," adds a masculine touch to any bathroom. It exudes quality with precision machined knurling on the post and chrome plating reminiscent of American bumpers from the 50's. It cradles a Schick brass and marble injector razor and a full Badger brush, handsomely! It rivals many of the $100 stands I've seen in specialty shops.
