Great product. Heavy weighted. And mine is also a matte finish. The person below must have mistakenly received the other version which is a shiny finish.

Don't get me wrong, this is a great stand but, only 4 stars because it says it is a matte finish and it is really polished. I was trying to match up a matte finish razor with it. Still, it looks good and is extremely well made.
