I purchased a few of these towels and like the other gentlemen who reviewed it, I love it. I wet it with some hot water and apply it to my face to open the pores and get the skin ready for shaving. It is also great for wiping my straight razors off in between passes. It is strong so I know the razor will not slice right through it. Plus it is long enough to hang from your neck or shoulder as you shave so you do not need to constantly pick it up and put it down.

Ordered a couple of these to run my order into free shipping
qualification. I've used cotton hand towels to prep my beard before a shave
and they seem to hold more water, but can become too heavy. These towels
seem to be a good mix of absorption and light weight, plus they feel a
stronger than a simple wash cloth. Good shaving towel for a decent price.
These things are large (I usually fold twice to lay across my face and still
have plenty of room).

I bought a six-pack of these over a year ago and use one with every shave. Wet in hot water, it's a beard prep. During the shave, it's perfect for wiping the razor clean.
The herringbone weave assures strength to the cotton fiber, almost guaranteeing years of use. You cannot go wrong with these. |
